Fox held separate pre-Iowa town halls for DeSantis and Haley, but at 6 p.m. before prime time. Frustration boiled over when DeSantis' campaign manager, James Uthmeier, felt that a Fox graphic didn't show the extent of the candidate's appearances in Iowa. Asked by Ainsley Earhardt if she would withdraw if she lost New Hampshire, Haley said she would not. “I don't care how much y'all want to coronate Donald Trump,” Haley said. “I don't need any advice from RINO Kayleigh McEnany on Fox,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, referencing the conservative slur Republican in Name Only.

NEW YORK (AP) — The curvy couch is making room for one more: Lawrence Jones will join the daily “Fox & Friends” morning show as a fourth host beginning on Monday. Fox News said Thursday that Jones will join Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt and Brian Kilmeade on the morning news and talk show, which airs from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Eastern. Jones is losing the Saturday evening show he has hosted, making room for a new show with talk host Mark Levin. Jones, 30, has been with Fox News since 2018 and said “Fox & Friends” is where he made his first national television appearance. “It is truly a privilege to inform our audience every day and I can't wait to do so each morning,” he said.

Fox News personalities are chomping at the bit for Donald Trump to participate in their GOP debate. Several Fox News anchors are practically begging former President Donald Trump to attend their GOP presidential debate on August 23 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, The Washington Post reported. "When you have a big lead, you don't do it," Trump told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo last week. When the network hosted a GOP debate in August 2015 (wherein Trump famously sparred with Megyn Kelly), the network drew in 24 million views, the Post reported. When Trump pulled out of another Fox debate months later, the network logged about half as many views.

Private texts reveal incredible detail about Fox News' inner workings. Among the messages is a thread where Tucker Carlson privately bashes Trump. Top Fox News hosts, including Tucker Carlson, privately insulted Chris Wallace and hatched a plot for a rebellion — November, 16, 2020. In a group chat between the three biggest hosts, Carlson, Hannity, and Ingraham, few colleagues, including then-"Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace, were spared. Fox News host Brian Kilmeade praised Trump for having a "very disciplined message." "Since he went and visited East Palestine, stopped having lunch with white supremacists, and has got a very disciplined message," Kilmeade said. He attributed that, in part, to Trump not "having lunch with white supremacists" and visiting East Palestine, Ohio, after a train carrying toxic chemicals derailed in the town last month. The reference to "white supremacists" is likely a nod to Trump's November meeting at his Mar-a-Lago resort with notorious white supremacist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes and the rapper Kanye West, who now goes by Ye. "This is the most disciplined I've ever seen him," Kilmeade said of Trump, "even compared to 2016."
The filings expose the face of the network, Tucker Carlson, as a fraud. They show that Rupert Murdoch rejected conspiracy theories about Dominion, despite allowing them to be promoted on his network. But here are some immediate takeaways:► Carlson “passionately” hates Trump: In a number of private text messages, Carlson was harshly critical of Trump. I truly can’t wait.” Carlson added of Trump, “I hate him passionately.” The Fox host said of the Trump presidency, “That’s the last four years. There isn’t really an upside to Trump.”► Murdoch rejected conspiracies: In his January deposition, Murdoch was repeatedly asked about various electronic voting conspiracy theories — and he rejected all of them.
Brian Kilmeade called the GOP holdouts blocking Kevin McCarthy from being speaker "insurrectionists." The "FOX & Friends" host immediately walked the comment back, going for "saboteurs" instead. The people that don't wanna vote for Kevin McCarthy." At least Kevin McCarthy agreed to some things, and didn't agree to other things." The "Fox & Friends" host did not single out by name the congresspeople he thought were "insurrectionists."
